Bahia
This incredibly strong fibre from Brazil doesn't get damaged by water, making it perfect for cleaning tools, everything from yard brooms to chimney brushes.
Bassine
A strong and simple fibre from the Palmyra palm in India. It's incredibly durable and effective, especially when used in warehouse brooms and scrubbing brushes.
Boar Bristle
A traditional choice for brushmakers, Bristle is known for its unique combination of strength and flexibility - making it versatile to use in a variety of brushes.
Coco
Sourced from Sri Lanka and made from the tough outer part of a coconut, coco fibres are incredibly versatile, as well as being a strong and durable eco-friendly option.
Goat Hair
Incredibly soft and strong, making it perfect for brushes that need to be both gentle and effective. This great material is known for its durability, making it perfect for a range of brush types.
Horse Hair
Synonymous with quality brushmaking, offering elegance and performance. Uniquely combining durability and flexibility, Horse Hair's gentle and effective cleaning properties are second to none.
Sherbro
Harvested by cutting, soaking, and combining the leaves of the Bassa Palm in Sierra Leone, Sherbro is often mixed with Bahia or Synthetics to create a variety of different brushes and brooms.
Tampico
Tampico has been described as “Mexico’s natural wonder” because of its multi-functional natural properties. This fibre is used as an all-natural filling for all sorts of brushes, brooms, tough bristles and mats.
Polypropylene
Light, durable and resistant to heat and acids, Polypropylene is perfect for a variety of tasks, from day to day cleaning around the house, to more industrial and commercial settings.
PVC
Sourced from Italy, PVC is a strong, durable brush fibre ideal for various cleaning tasks. Its slight bounce on contact can enhance cleaning but may take some getting used to.
PET
PET's low water absorption helps it maintain shape when wet and withstand high temperatures, making it versatile for various environments.
Union Mix
Union Mix fibre is a blend of Tampico and Palmyra, with a medium-stiff texture and a mix of light and dark brown fibres, ideal for medium scrub applications.
Gumati
Gumati is a medium/stiff plant fibre from the Arenga sugar palm tree in Indonesia. It has a rich history of use in ropes, roofs, brushes, brooms, and as a concrete thickener.
Broom Grass
From Lesotho, this fibre offers reliable sweeping performance and maintains its quality in the wet. When blended, it’s ideal for light domestic and yard brooms.
